Halloween CAS

The CAS challenge this week on The Outlawz was to make a Halloween card. The Haunted Houses are an Outlines rubber stamps image. Looks just a little spooky.


Halloween Color Challenge

 
The Tuesday color challenge at The Outlawz was to use: Bat Black, Harvest Moon, and Amber Glow. The twist was to make a Halloween card. The image is from House Mouse. I did his wings with orange, yellow and black glitter. 

Sketch Challenge

 
Wednesday sketch for The Outlawz. The image is a digi. Candi was colored with copics and placed in the corners.

Circle Card

 
 
The Thursday challenge on The Outlawz this week was to make a circle card. The image used is from Unity Stamp Company. I used circles from the standard and grand sets from Spellbinders.

Prima Paper Doll Canvas

 
The Monday Greetings challenge on The Outlawz was "Anything Goes." Another of my Prima Paper Doll Canvases. The clothes were made with Prima DP. The flowers at the bottom of the canvas are from Prima and were inked with Distress Ink and clear embossed. The "greeting" is a rub on. The upper right hand corner features a doily and pearls from Prima

The Paper Ala Mode challenge on The Outlawz this week was Anything Goes.  I decided to do a canvas with the Prima Paper doll stamps. I painted the canvas with Distress Paints and added stencils with Staz-on ink. The plant is chipboard which was painted with Viva's dimensional paints. I also used rub-ons and ribbon on the background. The flower is from Prima.

The Friday alcohol marker challenge on The Outlawz was Anything Goes. The stamps are from Art Impressions. I colored them with copics and used some glitter on the words on the coffee cup.

Penny black October Challenge

 
The Penny Black Saturday Challenge for October was "Spooky." The background paper is from DCWV. I cut out the hedgies and put them on a wobble. It is a fun card and the wobble is perfect for them to be flying thru the air.

Color challenge

 
The Color Challenge on The Outlawz this week was to use Sand Dune Pink, Dusty Cream, and Desert Brown. The twist was to make it vintage. I stamped the images with brown ink and popped up the center stamp. I added the key in the upper corner. Amazing what you can find in your stash!

Autumn

 
The Monday Greetings Challenge on The Outlawz was Pumpkins. Of course there needs to be greeting on the card. Found this stamp in my stash, thinking it has been a long time since I have used it. Colored with copics with a bit of glossy accents on the leaves. 

In the Cornfield

 
 
The Saturday Paper Ala Mode Challenge was "In the Cornfield." It needed to be something you might find in a cornfield. My pumpkin patch is a Hero Arts stamp. I popped up severa leaves and flowers in it.

Thursday Bingo

 
The Twisted Thursday Challenge at The Outlawz today was Bingo. My bingo consisted of Punched/Die Cut - Stamped Image - Twine. This is one of my new Halloween House Mice. The bats are a Martha Stewart Punched. Added some glossy accents to the candy corn for fun.

Sketch Challenge

Wednesday sketch challenge on The Outlawz. The image is a digi. I used two different embossing folders for the black quarters in the background. I then used the dots embossing folder on the pink. 

The Outlawz Color Challenge

 
The Tuesday color challenge on The Outlawz was to use True Lavender, Accent Yellow, and Luch Green. The card could not be square. I used an image from Penny Black and DP from DCWV. I used every set of Labels 4 (Grand, regular, and small) to create the layers for the card.

The House Mouse and Friends challenge this time around was "Hey Pumpkin!" You needed to use pumpkin colors: orange and green. I colored my mouse with copics and added lots of glitter. He is layered on green paper. The pumpkin border was in my stash. The perfect saying for this guy: "Trick or Cheese?"


Two Pattern Papers

 
The Monday Greeting challenge at The Outlawz was to use 2 pattern papers. This little bee is a digital image. Colored with copics. I used silver glitter for his wings and a silver pearl pen for his antennas. 

I Miss You

 
The Sunday CAS challenge on The Outlawz was "I miss you." This hedgehog from Penny Black looks like he is missing someone or something.

Color Challenge

 
The Saturday Paper A la Mode challenge at The Outlawz was a color challenge. You needed to create a card using a color that began with the same letter as your first name. If there was no color, you could just choose a color. I chose blue. The image is from Lili of the Valley. He was done in various shades of blue and blue glitter was used for the snow. The embossed background is a cuttlebug folder.

For my card I used the sixxix spider well embossing folder for the background. The kitty-chickie was colored with copics and a little yellow glitter was added. Layered on yellow and orange and placed on a wobble.

In honor of World Animal Day, the alcohol ink marker challenge on The Outlawz this week was to make a card with an animal on it. The image is from Lili of the Valley. It was colored with copics and stickles were added to the girls dress. I used a layer of embossed background paper which was the same color as the card base for the layer.

Wednesday Sketch Challenge on The Outlawz. I used stickers from Hot of the Press that come 3 sheets in a package in 3 colors. You mix and match all the pieces. So, I used one of each color for the three poinsettas.

Color Challenge

 
 The Color challenge on The Outlawz this week to use Linen Gray, Tomato Red, and Gentle Turquoise. The bicycle is cut from a Mountain Dew Kickstart can. The "stones" that the bike is riding on were embossed and then gray ink was applied to the embossed area.

Today is World Cardmaking Day. There was a challenge on the Denami blog. They had a tic-tac-toe gameboard that allowed you to choose the elements you wanted on your card. .
 
 

 
 The elements I chose were green polka dots and glitter. These are Denami's crafting chickies. Lots of glitter on the chickies and the bows.
