Christmas in July

Tuesday color challenge on The Outlawz: Bridal White, Jamaica Bay Blue, Oyster Bay Silver. Needed to add a charm. Did not have any charms, so I have a snowflake. I embossed with silver on silver paper. The bows were colored with copics.

The House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge was "Summertime Fun".   The mice are having a wonderful time building their sandcastle. A little glitter was used for the shells and spoon.

National Get Out of the Dog House Day

Did you know that not only is this the dog days of summer, but this month  celebrates National Get Out of the Doghouse Day. In honor of that the Monday Greeting Card Challenge was to use a dog on your card. I made this card for a friend whose dog is always stealing the food.

Simon Says Stamp

The Simon Says Stamp Challenge this week was a sketch. The image is from Stampin' Up! I embossed it in gold and then stamped the words on top. I am making 50 thank you cards for a gift, so you will be seeing many thank yous in my cards for the next few weeks.

Frosty

The CAS challenge on The Outlawz this week was to make a card inspired by a Christmas Song. Frosty the Snowman was my inspiration. The stamp is from Hero Arts. I used Versamark Dazzle to stamp the snowflakes in the background and embossed them with clear embossing powder.

The Greeting Card Challenge on The Outlawz this week was anything goes. This is one of my July Birthday Cards. The inside says: Hope your birthday is a hoot. The stamp is from Art Impressions. I applied green ink to the Cuttlebug folder before embossing my green paper. I used the negative side of the paper on the card.
