Penny Black Challenge



Penny Black Challenge. The challenge was to use Penny Black Stamps as a background. I stamped the background Dot Flourish Border in Memento Angel Pink. The focal image is Asters, stamped in Memento Rose Bud. Labels 10 and Petite Circles were used for the layering.

PTI Stamp-A-Faire Challenge 10


The challenge was to add a stamped focal point over a stamped background. My background was created using a 3 dot peg stamp from Judith using a pale blue and pale pink ink. The flowers were then stamped on top. Nestabilities Labels 4 were used to frame the words. A piece of pale blue ribbon was layered under the words.

House Mouse Challenge 100 - Buttons, Bows, and Bling

House Mouse and Friends Challenge. "Having a Sleigh Ride" (1999). Colored with copics. Buttons for berries on the tree branches. A bow for the sled. Red glitter for the bling. I used snowdrops (sierra pacific crafts) for the snowballs on the ground.


PTI Blog Hop Challenge

The challenge this month was to use a provided photo as inspiration. I chose to use the color scheme of the photo for my inspiration. Stamps are Paper Trey Ink. The turquoise circles were one nestibility circle cut in half and embossed with a cuttlebug folder. The background paper is from Provocraft. Stickles were used on the headlights.

Caveman Day! Yes, today, August 25 celebrates this day. The dinosaur and tree are from Sweet N Sassy Stamps. The caveman is clip art. The dinosaur and grounding of the man were done with cuttlebug folders. The man has a Wobble behind him, so he moves! Did these for a friend who sends cards out each month for interesting holidays. She chose the holiday, not me.

A friend asked me for a scuba diver card. Found the diver in clip art. Embossed the card with cuttlebug folder. The algae is a grass punch from Martha Stewart. All the diving embellishments are stickers from Jolee's.

PTI Stamp-A-Faire Challenge #9



The challenge was to take a stamp and use it in a method that it was not intended for. I used the center cutouts from the seed packets and turned it upside down to make a vase. I embossed the vase with a cuttlebug folder and highlighted with yellow ink. All stamps Paper Trey Ink.

The challenge was to create a card, cutting back the front cover by about an inch. I layered a piece of patterned paper on the inside of the card where the front was cut back. All stamps Paper Trey Ink

The challenge was to use images from different sets to create a background. I used leaves from 2 different sets. Inked with Kaleidacolor Creole Spice. All images Paper Trey Ink.

The challenge was to make a notch on each side of the card to hold the ribbon. All images Paper Trey Ink.

This challenge was to create a faux border using a punch or die. I punched flowers out of blue and pink and then attached them to each other off center. I cut off the one side of the flower to create my border. All images are Paper Trey Ink.

The challenge was to use two greens and two blues. I die-cut the images out of the darker green and put them on the blue. I then die-cut the images on the lighter green and stamped them in the darker green and popped them up, slightly off center.

Stamp Camp was this week. We always do a small food gift in a stamped presentation as part of our club meeting in July. I decorated a mailbox from Target. The only stamping is the small snowman on the flag. Stamp is from Hero Arts.
